The concepts used in this tutorial are as follows: If you need a better understanding of the Foreign Key to Primary Key MySQL concepts i would take a look here " How to Use MySQL Foreign Keys for Quicker Database Development". In this tutorial we will make use of phpMyAdmin however please feel free to use the concepts within and relate them through to any database client you prefer. This is the fourth video in the Wappler v1.2.3 "Fruit Juice International" training set, in it I am going to only create the first 3 tables needed for a website I already created, in great detail as usual. Luckily it is fairly simple as we have already designed the entire database in MindNode so we just have to follow that. If your web service supports InnoDB, you should definitely use foreign key constraints to preserve the integrity of your data.Let's make our first 3 database tables! Part 4īefore we can get to the fun part of creating the backend in Wappler we are first going to have to create some database tables for Wappler to use and reference back to. phpMyAdmin makes it easy to set up foreign key constraints as you'll see in the rest of this chapter. A foreign key constraint would stop you from inserting 18 as a value in the make id column of the cars table without first adding a new record to the parent table. For example, the highest value of make id in the makes table is currently 17. In addition, foreign key constraints reject any insert or update operation that attempts to use a foreign key a value that doesn't exist in the parent table. In MySQL, checks are performed immediately, so it has the same effect as RESTRICT. In some database systems, this allows the foreign key checks to be delayed. Technically speaking, there's a fourth option: NO ACTION. For this to work, the foreign key column in the child table must accept NULL values. SET NULL updates or deletes the row in the parent table and sets the foreign key in matching rows of the child table to NULL. CASCADE updates or deletes the row in the parent table and automatically updates or deletes the matching rows in the child table. RESTRICT rejects the update or delete operation. When setting up foreign key constraints, you need to specify what happens when you update or delete a record in the parent table that has dependent records in the child table. Although MyISAM tables support foreign keys, the MyISAM storage engine doesn't support foreign key constraints. And at the time of recording this video, XtraDB was aliased as InnoDB. This has been the default since MySQL 5.5 In MariaDB, the storage engine can either be XtraDB or InnoDB. In MySQL, both tables must use the InnoDB storage engine. In the cars table, make id has an ordinary index. In the makes table, make id is indexed as the primary key. To establish foreign key constraints, both columns must be indexed. In our example, that means the cars table. You always set up the foreign key constraints in the child table. So in the example database, makes is the parent table, and cars is the child. The parent is the table that contains a primary key, which is used as a foreign key in the child table. Using foreign keys establishes a parent-child relationship between tables. In other words, they prevent inconsistencies between related tables. By doing so foreign key constraints maintain referential integrity. Foreign key constraints avoid this problem by detecting related records in another table and taking preventative action such as canceling the operation to prevent records from becoming orphaned. You can no longer search them by make because there's no way of knowing what make id 5 stands for. But if you delete make id 5 from the makes table, all cars that use that as the foreign key become orphaned. Make id 5 is still associated with Chrysler. If you delete either of these rows, for example when the car is sold, it has no effect on the makes table. After importing the SQL file from the exercise files, the first and seventh rows of the cars table became associated with make id 5 or Chrysler. In the database we've been using in this course, the primary key in the makes table is used as a foreign key in the cars table. Foreign key constraints control what happens when records are inserted, updated, or deleted. In a relational database like MySQL, foreign keys are used to link records in different tables.

You can also upload your custom scenarios to the Steam Workshop to share them with other people. In the Scenario Editor, you can make your own custom rules (what coasters are available, how much money you have at the start, etc.) and then play your scenario, as if it were a Career park. In Challenge mode, you are given an empty space to build your own park in. In career mode, you are given a park that is being built, but has run into financial trouble. This has proven to be the most popular mode of the two as people can build enormous, highly detailed builds, or replicas of real-world roller coasters and parks.Ĭhallenge mode is very similar to Career mode, but with one main difference. Sandbox mode works almost the same as Career, with two major differences you have infinite cash (allowing you to build pretty much whatever you want) and you can change the setting for your park, allowing you to adjust your staff happiness level, disable attraction malfunctions, even allow your rides to function underwater and even inside the terrain. Thus, the goal in Career mode is to keep your park open while providing an entertaining value for your guests. But if you lose too much money, you can be forced to close your park. You can hire people to staff your park like vendors for shops, security to deal with troublemakers, mechanics to fix broken-down attractions, and janitors to keep your park clean. Notifications pop up telling you how much money you made/lost monthly, what guests like/don't like about your park, and other tips which can help you improve your park. In Career mode, you have a limited amount of money at the start of the game and thus must build your rides carefully, choosing a little bit at a time, until you have a working theme park in store. There are four modes in Planet Coaster, Career, Sandbox, Challenge, and Scenarios, each with their own set of rules. It has basically the same goals as the RCT games, while adding Sandbox gameplay and ultra-modern, HD 3-D graphics. A similar game called Planet Zoo was launched in November 2019. GraphQL is capable of aggregating the data, returns predictable data to the clients. GraphQL is very useful in such cases and structures data in the form of a graph with its powerful query syntax for traversing, retrieving, and modifying data. However, when the data is complex and it is not possible to fetch all the data within a single request as it involved various operations and routes get more complex. REST APIs are powerful and follow a resource-oriented and well-structured approach. GraphQL allows you to send the query to your API and get the required data. GraphQL is an open-source query language for Rest API's and it is developed by Facebook in 2012 before releasing publicly in 2015. Before we start with Anypoint DataGraph, we need to understand the GraphQL and Anypoint DataGraph is the layer built on the top of GraphQL. In this blog, we will be learn about how to unify multiple APIs into single data service with Anypoint DataGraph. I like the Weize’s 100% depth of discharge. This battery outclasses a similarly sized SLA by more than 1,000 percent. However, it is worth pointing out that this product only has ten percent of the Weize’s capacity, making the 2,500 to 7,000 charge-discharge cycle significant. It is a thousand cycles short of the Weize. What is more remarkable is this battery’s maximum cycle of 7,000. Of course, it pales to the Weize’s 100 amp-hours, but it does not matter because its intended use is different. It is sufficient to operate small RV and marine appliances and off-grid applications. It is a nifty solution that outclasses some expensive SLAs.Īlthough this battery only delivers 10Ah, its 12.8V rating translates to 128 watts. The ExpertPower 12V Lithium Deep Cycle RV Battery is an excellent choice for RV owners who want reliable, independent power for their power tools, small gadgets and electronics, and other handy electrical items. ExpertPower 12V 10Ah Lithium LiFePO4 Rechargeable Battery It delivers a punch for its compact size and gives exceptional value for the money in the long run. This lithium battery can effectively replace my lead-acid RV battery anytime. This lithium battery reverses it, placing the negative on the red post and the positive on the black post. The conventional layout is red for positive and black for negative. My only comment about this lithium battery is its odd battery terminal configuration. I can mount it upright or on its sides and never fret about anything. Placing this battery in the RV is never an issue because it only measures 12.71×9.34×6.49 inches and weighs 26.4 pounds. It is the technology I need to make my RVing adventures more hassle-free. I will also never worry about overcharging, short-circuiting, and exceeding the battery’s current requirements because it has an advanced battery management system (BMS). Still, it outclasses the 500 cycles of lead-acid batteries, outlasting them by 400% fully drained. Discharging this battery to 100% reduces its charge-recharge cycle from 8,000 to 2,000. Most lithium batteries cap their DoDs at 80%, while conventional deep-cycle LAs can only manage 50%. I love this battery’s 100% depth of discharge. It can also be an excellent power storage unit for RV solar system. Its 50-amp standard charge also outclasses some high-end SLAs, making this battery the choice of RVers, boaters, golfers, fisherfolk, campers, and rescuers. It offers motorhome owners a more cost-effective solution to power many electrical appliances and gadgets in their RVs.Īlthough this 12V lithium RV battery only has 100 amp-hours, it outperforms even the most expensive lead-acid (LA) batteries. Like many fellow RV owners, I love the Weize 12V 100Ah LFP Lithium Battery. If you are in the market for a reliable deep cycle battery, I don’t think you could go wrong with the Battle Born deep cycle battery. I think that even though it’s not easy on your pocket, it more than makes up for it in terms of quality and service life. I don’t like that it is quite expensive, but I would much rather pay a few hundred bucks extra for a 10-year service life than having to risk not having a dependable power source (especially during the winter) and/or having to drive to town just to get new ones. It is nice to not have to replace my batteries every 3 years or so, as convenience is a top priority for me. Although they have almost the same dimensions, the extra weight on the UPG batteries is just an unnecessary load on my rig – which is why even though the AGM ones work just fine for my system, I prefer these LiFePO4 batteries now. The Battle Born battery is only 29 pounds – which is so much lighter compared to the 63-pound-apiece UPG batteries I used to have. I usually camp off-grid near the mountains, and getting stuff delivered to me is not an option: so I would always have to go into town and pick up any deliveries. I was using sealed lead-acid batteries before (and UPG batteries before that), but I heard from a friend that while the sealed batteries are a good option, I should consider a more long-term battery so won’t have to worry about finding replacements every few years. Fortunately, the Battle Born LiFePO4 deep cycle batteries did not disappoint. I needed two deep-cycle batteries to upgrade the solar power system I have in my RV, and decided to go for this lithium RV battery as I’ve been told that they have a longer service life.
